Rove & Reset: Winter Edition is second in our series of urban retreats. Designed for people who live in the city, embracing the idea that calm exists right here in the metropolis.

This one day retreat is for noticing winter’s pull toward rest and reflection, and remembering that safety begins when we feel held by one another. We believe healing happens best when it’s shared. We promote collective learning, honest practices, and space to glitch, grow, and get back up.

Across the day, we move gently between city and nature: a grounding winter walk, a fire-building ritual to honour release and renewal, a voice workshop to reclaim expression, and guided meditation to steady the mind amid the noise. Seasonal, nourishing food warms us from the inside, while a shiatsu workshop reconnects us to the intelligence of touch and rest. This isn’t self-care, it’s collective resistance with a side of herbal tea!

Rove & Reset is about community over perfection, togetherness over isolation. Forget the guru, bring your neighbour. We rage, rest, and reset, sometimes all in one day. Your burnout is political. Don’t heal alone. We heal aloud and together.

18 October 2025 – East London – Autumn Edition

As the pace of London keeps ticking, ‘Rove & Reset’ offers a rare invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect—with yourself, with nature, and with the quiet moments hidden within the city’s rhythm.

This is the first in a series which will explore the four corners of our city. We start with a journey in the heart of East London’s Mile End. Inspired by the grounding energy of autumn, this relaxed one-day retreat is designed to help you to let go and reset. Hosted by Ria Butler & Oihane Donnellan, the experience blends warmth, presence, and gentle ritual to support your seasonal transition.

You’ll be guided through a thoughtfully curated day across different locations, beginning with a one-hour sauna session (with an optional, invigorating cold plunge if you’re feeling adventurous). From there, we’ll move into a forest school-inspired, creative workshop in nature, encouraging playful connection and mindful exploration outdoors.

Afterwards; enjoy a short walk in nature followed by a nutritious, seasonal lunch, a grounding self-shiatsu massage session, gentle yoga, and a soothing guided meditation with live music to close the day in stillness.

Alongside moments of rest and reflection, the retreat also celebrates East London’s vibrant community by showcasing local independent businesses and offering a practical template for accessible, affordable wellness. Each guest will leave with a ready made guide for local and simple, everyday practices to support wellbeing close to home. Think of it as a seasonal reset. A soft landing. A way to remember the peace that’s always there—both beneath and within the noise.
